They are a Mongolian tribe living in the midst of countless small Tibetan clans They are an Indigenous people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tibetan, Amdo.
