The Jingpo of China

The Jingpo of China, numbering approximately 29,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are the largest Kachin subgroup, known as Jingpo in China and Singpho in India, descended from the ancient Di and Qiang of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, who completed their migration to the China-Myanmar borderlands by the 1500s. They mostly adhere to Protestantism and Kachin is their primary language.

The Jingpo are No Longer Unreached, which means there are more than 2% evangelical Christian populations and there are churches consistent with evangelical faith and practice. There is still more to be done among them.
