The Amdo of China, numbering approximately 1,505,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of China; a dialect subgroup of Amdo Tibetan (adx) and can also be known as Hbrogpa, Amdo. They are an Indigenous people, in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Tibetan, Amdo.
