The Sampange Rai of Nepal

The Sampange Rai of Nepal, numbering approximately 14,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Rai linguistic group of Nepal's Khotang District, part of the historic Kirat homeland known as Majh Kirat or Khambuwan that once fell under the suzerainty of the Sen king of Chaudandigadhi before Nepal's unification. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Sampang is their primary language.
