Benin (BEN)

Benin, in West Africa, is the birthplace of Vodun (Voodoo), and its spiritual traditions are world-renowned. The country’s stilt villages, royal palaces, and vibrant markets reflect a rich cultural mosaic. While Christianity and Islam are widespread, many Beninese also honor ancestral spirits and participate in colorful Vodun festivals, where drumming, dance, and masked ceremonies play a central role in community life.
