Hinduism - Shaivaism is a part of Shaivaism and the larger Hinduism religion. Shivaism is one of the four most widely followed sects of Hinduism. It refers to organized worship of the Indian god Shiva. Shaivism includes such diverse movements as the highly philosophical Shaiva-siddhanta, the socially distinctive Lingayat, ascetic orders such as the dashnami sannyasins, and innumerable folk variants.
