They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Han Chinese originating in the Pearl River Delta of southwestern China. and can also be known as Hong Konger, 香港人. They are an Indigenous people, in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Chinese Folk Religion. They primarily speak Chinese, Yue.
