The Thai Teng of Laos

The Thai Teng of Laos, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a tribal subgroup of the Tai people of Laos. They are also known as Tai Deng, Tai Daeng, ໄທແດງ, Red Tai. They are an Indigenous people in the Tai people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Tai Daeng and their primary religion is Animism.
