They are a tribal subgroup of the Ta-oy people of southern LaosYin, In They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Ta’oih, Upper.
