The Yuki of United States

The Yuki of United States, numbering approximately 1,200 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as an Indigenous people of Northern California whose ancestral homelands center on Round Valley and the upper Eel River. Today, Yuki descendants survive primarily through the Round Valley Indian Tribes, preserving cultural identity and memory and can also be known as Round Valley Indians, Yukiah, Ukomno'om, Huchnom, Ukohtontilka. They are an Indigenous people, with Yuki as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples. Their primary religion is Native American religions. They primarily speak English.
