They are a federally recognized confederation of more than 27 Native American tribes and bands who once inhabited an extensive homeland from northern California to southwest Washington. They are also known as Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. They are an Indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is English and their primary religion is Native American religions.
