They are an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the Kachin state in northern Myanmar They are an Diaspora people, in the Miri-Kachin people cluster of the Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Rawang.
