They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Kuki people indigenous to the Chin Hills of Myanmar and the Indian state of Manipur and can also be known as Zomi Chin. They are an Diaspora people, in the Kuki Chin people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Zo.
