They are a Micronesian-speaking ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the islands of Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia They are an Indigenous people, in the Micronesian people cluster of the Pacific Islander Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Chuukese.
