They are a minor Indigenous ethnic group in Nigeria, located mainly in Plateau State and Bauchi State in the country’s north‑central region. They are an Indigenous people in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Kadung and their primary religion is Animism.
