The Kachi of India

The Kachi of India, numbering approximately 50,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Hindu agrarian caste community of northern and central India, traditionally known as vegetable cultivators and horticultural specialists. They are best known historically as intensive market gardeners, especially in fertile riverine and alluvial zones. They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
