The Jaweri of India, numbering approximately 375 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a vegetarian Marwari-speaking trading community from Rajasthan now settled in Karnataka, whose name derives from javahir, meaning jewelry. Jewelry dealing is their traditional occupation, though many are now in business. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marwari (India) and their primary religion is Hinduism.
