The Dhori of India

The Dhori of India, numbering approximately 2,300 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Maharashtrian community also known as Dhoria that migrated from Gujarat, tracing legendary descent from a Rajput ruler who married into the herding Naika community, and divided into a priestly Waragha subgroup and the wider Dhoria. They are an Indigenous people in the Bhil people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Dhodia and their primary religion is Hinduism.
