The Bhagotulu of India

The Bhagotulu of India, numbering approximately 450 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Telugu-speaking Brahmin community of Andhra Pradesh, a section of the Vaidiki Brahmin renowned for performing dance-dramas of the Bhagavatham, from which their name derives. They were traditionally priests and landowners. They are an Indigenous people in the Brahmin people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
