The Bayil Pattar of India, numbering approximately 450 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Kannada-region silversmith artisan community concentrated in the Bijapur district of Karnataka, traditionally engaged in making and repairing silver ornaments. They trace their migration from Jagannath Puri in Odisha and still speak Odia. They are an Indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Odia and their primary religion is Hinduism.
