The Nambutiris of India

The Nambutiris of India, numbering approximately 70,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are the Brahmin community of Kerala, also called Malayala Brahmin, traditionally trusted advisors to the region's rajas and chiefs. Settled cultivation and priesthood remain common, alongside business and government service. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Malayalam is their primary language.
