The Ayri of India, numbering approximately 225 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a very small, little-documented Indigenous community in southern India, likely associated with the Kodava-speaking region and Hindu traditions, best understood as a localized micro‑group rather than a major caste or tribe. They are an Indigenous people in the Other South Asian people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Kodava and their primary religion is Hinduism.
