The Sandhai Muslims of India

The Sandhai Muslims of India, numbering approximately 1,600 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Muslim community of Junagadh and the Saurashtra and Kutch districts of Gujarat who migrated from Sindh roughly three centuries ago. Agriculture remains traditional in rural areas, supplemented by service and business in towns. They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Kacchi and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
