The Tenugu of India, numbering approximately 47,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Telugu-speaking community of Nanded, Parbhani, and Solapur districts, Maharashtra, also called Muttarasa Koli, traditionally fishermen. Agriculture, carpentry, masonry, and labor have largely replaced this traditional trade They are an Indigenous people, with Tenugu as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
