They are described as a scheduled tribe of India; a hybrid of the Bhil and Korku They are an Indigenous people, with Korku Nahal as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Nimadi.
