The Cheintz of India, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a predominantly Hindu community of Jammu and Kashmir whose marriages are regulated by clans (kul) and who speak Dogri among themselves. They are also known as Sanchi and Gularia, and many now work in service jobs or as daily-wage laborers They are an Indigenous people, with Ceintz as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Dogri (individual language) is their primary language.
