The Cheintz of India, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a small Hindu community of Jammu and Kashmir. Most of the Cheintz are daily-wage casual labourers. They are an Indigenous people, in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Dogri.
