The Lahaula of India

The Lahaula of India, numbering approximately 2,600 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a territorial term for inhabitants of the Lahaul valley in Himachal Pradesh, encompassing Hindu Swangla and Buddhist Bhot communities. Their ancient spirit-worship survives blended into both faiths. They are an Indigenous people in the Nepali-Pahari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Pahari-Potwari and their primary religion is Hinduism.
