The Campa of India

The Campa of India, numbering approximately 7,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a scheduled tribe of Buddhist herders inhabiting the high-altitude cold deserts between Ladakh and Tibet, traditionally living by raising yaks and goats. Their name may derive from chang, their traditional drink. They are an Indigenous people in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Ladakhi and their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism.
