The Campa of India

The Campa of India, numbering approximately 7,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a scheduled tribe of Buddhist herders inhabiting the high-altitude cold deserts between Ladakh and Tibet, traditionally living by raising yaks and goats. Their name may derive from chang, their traditional drink. They mostly adhere to Tibetan Buddhism and Ladakhi is their primary language.
