The Bati of India

The Bati of India, numbering approximately 60,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Rajput-descended agricultural community of Uttar Pradesh, tracing their origin to survivors of a great Yamuna flood after migrating from Himachal Pradesh. They include both Hindus and Sikhs and are also known as Bhati or Chang. They are an Indigenous people in the Punjabi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Punjabi, Eastern and their primary religion is Hinduism.
