The Ixtlan Zapotec of United States, numbering approximately 1,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguisic subgroup of the Zapotec, an ethnic group indigenous to the state of Oaxaca, Mexico and can also be known as Zapoteco de Santa Ana Yareni, Etla Zapotec, Zapoteco de Atepec, Zapoteco de Teococuilco de Marcos Pérez, Western Ixtlán Zapotec, Ixtlán Zapoteco. They are an Diaspora people, in the Zapotec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
