They are an indigenous ethnic group of Aztec ancestry native to Mexico and can also be known as Nahuatl, Isthmus-Pajapan, Cosoleacaque Aztec, Isthmus Aztec-Mecayapan, Nahuatl, Isthmus-Cosoleacaque, Isthmus-Pajapan; Nahuatl, Isthmus-Mecayapan;Nahuatl, Isthmus-Mecayapan, Náhuat de Pajapan, Nahuatl, Isthmus-Cosoleacaque; Isthmus Aztec-Mecayapan; Náhuat de Pajapan; Cosoleacaque Aztec. They are an Diaspora people, in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
