The Naribut of India

The Naribut of India, numbering approximately 2,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Delhi and Rajasthan, also called Bawari, claiming Rajput ancestry, their name recalling the knitting of leather cords. Selling chandeliers has largely replaced their traditional craft of stone idol-making. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marwari (India) and their primary religion is Hinduism.
