The Sabar of India, numbering approximately 6,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous tribal people (Adivasi) of eastern India. They are officially recognized as a Scheduled Tribe and are among the historically most marginalized forest‑dwelling communities in the region. They are an Indigenous people in the Bihari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Bengali and their primary religion is Hinduism.
