The Aka of India

The Aka of India, numbering approximately 7,600 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a tribal community of Arunachal Pradesh who speak Hrusso, a Tibeto-Burman language, practice slash-and-burn cultivation, and follow Nyezino religion alongside some Vaishnavism and Christianity. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hruso and their primary religion is Hinduism.
