The Badwa of India

The Badwa of India, numbering approximately 2,600 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Rajasthani community of hereditary genealogists and bards, descended from Brahmins who sang of the valor of kings and Rajput nobles at royal courts. Their name derives from preparing genealogies of the rich (bada, meaning big). They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
