The Babar of India

The Babar of India, numbering approximately 500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an occupational caste of Hindu medicine men, distributed across Bundi, Tonk and Ajmer districts of Rajasthan. The Babar now pursue agriculture, business and service alongside their traditional practice of administering medicines. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Haroti and their primary religion is Hinduism.
