The Jadam of India

The Jadam of India, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a caste community of Hoshangabad district in Madhya Pradesh claiming descent from the Yaduvanshi lineage of the Mahabharata. Traditionally cultivators of the Vaisya varna, the Jadam are now agricultural laborers. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
