They are a group of indigenous (aboriginal) peoples of the Andaman Islands, which are part of India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Andaman Hindi Creole.
