The Great Andamanese of India

The Great Andamanese of India, numbering approximately 60 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a once-large group of Indigenous Island peoples who lived across the Andaman Islands but were nearly wiped out after colonial contact, leaving a small surviving community today with much of their traditional language and culture greatly diminished. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Andaman Hindi Creole and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
