The Aiton of India, numbering approximately 4,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of India and can also be known as Aitonia. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Buddhist people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Aiton.
