The Aimol of India

The Aimol of India, numbering approximately 3,700 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a tribal community of Manipur, the Aimol speak the Aimol language belonging to the Kuki-Chin subgroup of Tibeto-Burman, practice shifting cultivation, and have largely embraced Christianity They are an Indigenous people, with Aimol as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak Aimol.
