The Rakkain of Bangladesh, numbering approximately 34,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Bangladesh and can also be known as Rakhain, Rakhine. They are an Indigenous people, in the Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Rakhine.
