The Huastec of Mexico, numbering approximately 233,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Mexico and can also be known as Tennek, Veracruz; Huasteco de Tantoyuca; Tennek; Tan´nek; Tenek; Teenek, Huastec, Tenek, Veracruz, Huasteco de Tantoyuca, Teenek, Tan´nek. They are an Indigenous people, in the Maya people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
