The Lambya of Zambia

The Lambya of Zambia, numbering approximately 22,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Bantu-speaking ethnic group primarily located in northwestern Malawi (especially in Chitipa District), with smaller populations in Tanzania (Songwe Region) and Zambia. They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-Tanzania people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Lambya and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
