The Tai Mao of Myanmar, numbering approximately 120,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Burmese Shan whose identity is linked to the ancient Mao Kingdom on the border region of modern Myanmar and China . They are an Indigenous people, in the Tai people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Theravada. They primarily speak Tai Long.
