The Tai Mao of Myanmar

The Tai Mao of Myanmar, numbering approximately 120,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Burmese Shan whose identity is linked to the ancient Mao Kingdom on the border region of modern Myanmar and China. They mostly adhere to Theravada Buddhism and Tai Long is their primary language.
