The Chikunda of Zambia

The Chikunda of Zambia, numbering approximately 91,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a warrior-and-trading people of the Zambezi valley spanning Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, forged from 18th-century enslaved captives of many origins who served Afro-Portuguese estate lords before forming their own independent states. They mostly adhere to Ethnoreligion and Kunda is their primary language.
