The Xukurú of Brazil, numbering approximately 13,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous people of northeastern Brazil, deeply connected to their mountain homeland and known for their ongoing struggle to defend their land, culture, and identity. They are an Indigenous people in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Portuguese and their primary religion is Ethnoreligion.
