The Nepalis of Malaysia, numbering approximately 586,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community holding Nepali citizenship or with roots in Nepal and can also be known as Gurkha, Nepali, Gorkha. They are an Diaspora people, in the Nepali-Pahari people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism - Folk. They primarily speak Nepali.
