The Han Chinese (Teochew) of Malaysia, numbering approximately 631,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of Han Chinese originating in the Chaoshan region of south China and can also be known as Teochew. They are an Indigenous people, in the Chinese people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Chinese Folk Religion. They primarily speak Chinese, Min Nan.
